The success of MACH Energy's energy management software - MACH Insights - has solidified our ongoing relationships as well as expanded our portfolio of clients and properties. With that growth, however, come new demands and challenges. Here to help ensure that we continue our growth trajectory while exceeding client expectations is our new board advisor, Tom Donoghue, a 27- year commercial real estate veteran.
Tom was most recently SVP of Operations for Equity Office. For more than ten years, he oversaw a 22 million square foot portfolio, culminating in a highly successful sale of the portfolio. On MACH's platform, Tom said that it was the "gold standard of energy management software," and that they "saved millions using the system at Equity Office." We're not going to argue with that!
Tom learned the ropes of the industry at Shorenstein Realty Services, where he served in various roles from 1988 to 1999 including VP of Asset Services, VP of Asset Management, Leasing Manager, Property Manager, Director of Security and Construction Project Manager. For two years, Tom was also Group President at NetsWork, a technology company, where he was the creator of a business unit that provided consulting and technology management to real estate clients. In 2002, Tom returned as SVP of Operations at Shorenstein, overseeing property operations including financial, architectural, and construction activities for a team of 85 in the western region of the United States.
Tom possesses an in-depth understanding of all aspects of property management, building operations and real estate investments, and we are extremely excited to begin working with him to bring MACH’s energy management solutions to new avenues. Welcome, Tom!
